Return & Warranty

Return Policy

Items purchased from Precision Prep & Press, Inc. may be returned for a refund within three days from the date those items are received with the exception of products exempt to return policy which are listed below. In order to return or exchange (under the return and warranty guidelines listed below) all or part of your order, you must contact Precision Prep & Press, Inc. and request a return merchandise authorization number, or RMA#. Please e-mail sales@precisionprep.com to request your RMA#. Use “RMA#” in the subject line.

All returned items must be returned unused and in the original packaging. All accessories, including cables, lights, carry bags, manuals, etc., must be included and packaged as they were originally sent. The RMA# must be clearly printed on the outside of the returned package. Return requests must be made within three days from the date items are received by the customer, and the items being returned must be received back at Precision Prep & Press, Inc. within 10 days after the RMA# is provided to the customer. The date the RMA# is e-mailed to the customer will serve as the date the RMA# is provided. Any free items must be returned along with purchased items in order to qualify for a refund. Return shipping charges of all items are the responsibility of the customer. The customer is also responsible for any damage to returned items sustained during return delivery. Any shipping charges related to the original order will not be refunded. At the discretion of Precision Prep & Press, Inc., a 20% restocking fee may be deducted from the refund amount. Promotional discounts of any form which are applied to the original purchase may be voided from the refund. If a promotional discount is voided, the difference between the regular price and promotional price will be deducted from the refund.

Precision Prep & Press, Inc. recommends using a delivery service which provides tracking information and has insurance available when returning items for a refund.

Products Exempt to Return Policy

All customized items ordered will not be eligible for the refund policy listed above. Customized items include, but are not limited to products which include printed graphics, specially cut panels, or specially ordered items. All specially ordered items may not be returned unless qualified for return prior to purchase. Specially ordered items do not appear on this website. Limited Warranty

Precision Prep & Press, Inc. offers a limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship during normal use for hardware components (not including light bulbs) which are sold as a product or as part of a product listed on precisionprep.com. Components of products which are printed graphics, specially cut panels, or specially ordered items are exempt from warranty. All repairs which are covered by warranty will be performed at no charge with the exception of shipping and handling charges. All shipping and handling charges for warranty repairs are the responsibility of the customer. This warranty does not cover any Precision Prep & Press, Inc. products which have been subject to misuse, accident, neglect, incorrect assembly or disassembly, incorrect wiring or products which have been altered or repaired by anyone other than Precision Prep & Press, Inc. This warranty does not cover any incidental or consequential damages. This warranty is non-transferable.

Graphics and Specially Cut Panels

All printed graphics and/or specially cut panels claims must be reported to Precision Prep & Press, Inc. within 24 hours of receipt of merchandise. All claims must include any discrepancies between customer-approved proofs and received merchandise. These claims should only relate to printed graphics and/or specially cut panels and not to hardware components. All graphics and/or specially cut panel claims must be made in writing within 24 hours of receipt of merchandise and should be sent via e-mail to sales@precisionprep.com. Any claims made after the 24-hour period will not be honored. Precision Prep & Press, Inc. strives to attain 100% accuracy on all aspects of production; however, final proofing is the ultimate responsibility of the customer. Precision Prep & Press, Inc. may choose at its discretion to e-mail proofs to the customer for any orders which require printing for final approval in writing via e-mail, whether a print-ready file was submitted by the customer or if Precision Prep & Press, Inc. created the design contained in the file. E-mail proofs must be approved in writing via e-mail before production can begin. Delays in submitting final approvals may delay your order. E-mail proofs will be sent to the same e-mail address from which the order was placed unless other arrangements are made.

Printed graphics should be handled very carefully and stored the same way they were received in order to prevent damage. Precision Prep & Press, Inc. accepts no responsibility for graphics which are not handled carefully or stored the same way they were received. All printed graphics purchased from Precision Prep & Press, Inc. or precisionprep.com are considered final purchases and are not covered by the return or warranty policies.

Change Orders & Cancelations

All change orders must be made in writing and e-mailed to sales@precisionprep.com. Verbal change orders will not be accepted. Change orders include, but are not limited to the following: changes in shipping address, changes in order time frames (including production time and shipping time), changes to graphics files submitted for printing or changes in the type of product purchased. Change orders may require additional charges or refunds when applicable. Changes to the type of product may result in a 20% restocking fee. Change orders to printed graphics may result in a 75% charge of the total retail value of the purchase if printing of the graphics has already begun prior to receipt of your change order e-mail. If a change order results in additional charges higher than the original purchase, those charges must be paid in full in order for production to continue after the change order request. Change orders can’t be accepted if an order has already been produced and shipped. If an order you wish to change has already been produced and shipped, please refer to the return policy listed above.

All order cancelations must be made in writing and e-mailed to sales@precisionprep.com. Verbal cancelations will not be accepted. Canceled orders may be subject to cancellation charges or fees. A 20% restocking fee may be deducted from the refund amount. A 75% cancelation charge of the retail value of the purchase may be deducted from the refund amount if production of printed graphics for the order has begun. Some orders which do not contain hardware but only printed graphics or specially cut panels may be subject to a 100% cancellation charge of the retail value of the purchase if production has already begun. The following items are subject to a 100% cancellation charge of the retail value of the purchase if production has already begun: posters, banners, laminated items, exhibit graphics, replacement graphics or any items which are printed or specially cut. If an order you wish to cancel has already been produced and shipped, please refer to the return policy listed above.
